Albena Savova Todorova is one of Bulgaria's most promising young karate athletes, competing in WKF Kumite at the highest international level. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, she represents Karate Club "Kaloyan" and the Bulgarian National Karate Team at prestigious tournaments and championships under the auspices of the World Karate Federation (WKF).

 

Ranked No. 8 in the world among WKF cadet girls as of July 2026, Albena has already achieved results that athletes twice her age could be proud of — claiming four international tournament titles in 2025 and 2026 alone, defeating Top 10 ranked athletes, and representing Bulgaria at the European Championships in Cyprus.

 

What makes Albena's story remarkable is not only what she has achieved, but how she has achieved it. Balancing an elite athletic career with her studies at the 166 Sports School "Vasil Levski" in Sofia, she demonstrates daily that discipline, consistency, and competitive character can coexist with academic excellence.
