Evelina Nikolova took the honorable second place at the European Wrestling Championships, which took place in Bucharest, Romania. In the 57-kilogram category, Nikolova faced strong competition and reached the final bout, where she faced Irina Kurachkina.
The final fight was intense, but despite Nikolova’s efforts, she lost with a score of 2:7. Despite the loss, Nikolova demonstrated exceptional skill and technique.
This silver medal adds another impressive success to Nikolova’s already rich medal cabinet, which includes a total of five honors from European championships – three silver and two bronze medals.
